Squeals on Wheels is owned by John and Jill Phillips. We have been blessed to have 5 wonderful children (now adults) who frequently help at zoos and pony rides.
John and Jill are both retired from the U.S. Army. We met on a blind date in San Francisco (where we were both active duty at the time) and married six weeks later! We have been married for over 20 years and counting!

Squeals on Wheels was part of Ace of Cakes! The cake was a wonderful farm scene and our animals were part of the "live" entertainment!
ABC staff called, told us about the show (we had never seen the show) and asked if we were interested. We thought - Why miss out on an adventure? We applied, and we were selected. The episode aired November 2007, was selected for "sweeps week" and is frequently re-played on numerous CABLE channels. They said our family was 'too normal' but it turned out funny!

HEALTHLINE - RETIREMENT LIVING CHANNEL WITH DR. KEVIN SODEN - Our miniature pot-belly pig was included in Dr. Soden's half hour medical show on the nationally recognized Retirement Living Network Channel. Dr. Soden profiled a cancer survivor who used a controversial therapy involving pancreatic enzymes from a pig.

The 9:30 Club on V Street in NW Washington is a great club with great live music. We were asked to do a "surprise" birthday party for a band member of a popular group from Canada. The party was held in the club's parking lot and everyone had a blast!
