We support events throughout the year. Booking is on a first come, first serve basis based on submitted Reservation Form. Some animals will not be available for outdoor events if outside temperature is higher than 80°F. We do not travel further than 30 minutes on weekends and holidays from zipcode 20854 due to animal and staff fatigue and DC traffic!

  • Bantams are tiny chickens, not young ones, but full grown small size birds
  • Bantams have more color selection and variety than full sized chickens
  • These smaller birds require less food
  • Easier for children to handle
  • They eat bugs and weeds and lay eggs
  • Kids and adults very much enjoy these calm, small & personable chickens!
  • Our miniature ducks are known as "Call Ducks"
  • Call Ducks are cute! They are the 'toy' ducks of waterfowl
  • They were used as decoys in England to "call" in the wild ducks for hunters
  • The females are quite loud and their quack makes children laugh
  • They have a lot of personality
  • They are easily tamed
