  • His little back is covered with rows of short prickly spines
  • His belly is covered with very, very soft fur
  • When threatened, he rolls in to a tight ball with just a mass of spines poking out (he looks like a sea urchin!)
  • When relaxed, the spines lay almost flat and he is quite pettable at this time!

We find our little hedgie to be a most amazing animal!  He has an absolutely cute, cute face with a personality to match! Our hedgie is called
                            SERGIO
            and he is an entertaining little fellow!
